Pianist Eliane Rodrigues & the Sint-Petersburgs Philharmonic & Edward Serov, collected Prokofjev's 5 pianoconcerto's on SCYTHIAN & STEPPE
They explore 2 musical worlds: the 'Scythisc' spirit of the concerto no. 1, 3 and 5 – and their ritmic, almost barbaric energy – and the vast psychological wilderness of the 'Steppe' in concerto no. 2 en 4.
This special edition, recorded in the Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and the concert hall of the Glinka Capella, has been remastered by PARMA to mark the 135th anniversary of the composer's birth.

" That’s how it’s done ! Amanda Maier and her music […] from your album of the week, Trio Ernest and their latest release. They are based in Geneva, a really extraordinary trio. They have welcomed for this recording Eleonore Billy who is playing the nyckelharpa, and that’s where that kind of twaggy metal sound of that recording comes from, that beautiful instrument."
