They explore 2 musical worlds: the 'Scythisc' spirit of the concerto no. 1, 3 and 5 – and their ritmic, almost barbaric energy – and the vast psychological wilderness of the 'Steppe' in concerto no. 2 en 4.
This special edition, recorded in the Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and the concert hall of the Glinka Capella, has been remastered by PARMA to mark the 135th anniversary of the composer's birth.
